Use:
Allyltris(trimethylsiloxy)silane has good silophilic properties and active allyl groups, so it has a wide range of applications in organic synthesis:
-As a crosslinking agent: can be used to synthesize silicone polymer or rubber;
-As a condensation reagent: it can be applied to condensation reactions, such as the synthesis of silicon coupling agents;
-as a surface treatment agent: can be used for surface coating and modification, improve the material's water resistance, temperature resistance and other properties;
-used in organic synthesis: can be used as raw materials of allyl groups, participate in the synthesis of a variety of organic compounds.
Preparation Method:
Allyltris(trimethylsiloxy)silane can be synthesized by the following steps:
1. reacting methacrolein with trimethylchlorosilane to generate an acryl organosilicon compound;
2. The product obtained in step 1 is reacted with hydrochlorosilane to form Allyltris(trimethylsiloxy)silane.
