(4-Methylumbelliferyl)-N-acetyl-α-D-neuraminic acid sodium salt, also known as (4-Methylumbelliferyl)-N-acetyl-α-D-neuraminic acid sodium salt (MU-NeuAc-Na), is a chemical substance.
Nature:
MU-NeuAc-Na is a white to pale yellow solid that dissolves in water. Under acidic conditions, it emits blue fluorescence; And under alkaline conditions, its fluorescence will be significantly enhanced. In addition, it has high chemical stability.
Use:
MU-NeuAc-Na are widely used in neurochemistry, Glycobiology and biochemistry research.
