Use:

It can be used as a crosslinking initiator in the preparation of polymers, elastomers and coatings. In addition, it can also be used for the preparation of organic compounds containing silicon bonds, such as silicone polymers, silicone rubbers and silicon-based coating agents.

Preparation Method:
(1-Methoxyvinyl)trimethylsilane can be synthesized by the following steps:
1. The reaction of trimethylchlorosilane and alcohol is catalyzed by alkali to obtain the etherified product.
2. The etherification product is reacted with formaldehyde under alkaline conditions to form (1-Methoxyvinyl)trimethylsilane.
