8-methylpelargonaldehyde - Production method
d isomer, obtained by heating d-dihydrocitronellol with isopropyl aluminate at 70~100 ℃ and 1862Pa, and then adding cinnamaldehyde at 140~160 ℃.
It is obtained by hydrogenating citronellal with palladium carbonate or strontium carbonate in methanol at a pressure of 304kPa.
The dl type is formed by pressure hydrogenation of citral in ethanol, palladium carbonate and strontium carbonate or palladium carbonate and calcium carbonate.
