827-25-8 - Introduction
It is an organic compound with the chemical formula of C6H4BrClN2O2.
Nature:
is a yellow crystal with low solubility and strong odor. It is stable at room temperature and can be dissolved in some organic solvents, such as ethanol and dimethylformamide.
Use:
frequently used as organic synthesis and dye intermediates. It can be used to make compounds such as dyes, drugs and pesticides. In addition, it can also be used in the manufacture of pigments, coatings and plastics.
Preparation Method:
There are two main methods of preparation. One is to obtain nitrochloroaniline by reacting p-nitroaniline with sulfite chloride, and then react with cuprous bromide (Cu2Br) under sub-alkaline conditions to obtain the target product. The other is to react 4-chloro-2-bromoaniline with nitric acid to obtain nitrobromoaniline, which is then obtained by the participation of cuprous chloride (Cu2Cl).
Safety Information:
It has a certain degree of toxicity and has an irritating effect on the eyes, skin and respiratory tract. When using, wear appropriate protective measures to avoid contact with skin and eyes. When in use or storage, should be away from the fire and heat source.
