preparation	2-butyl-1-bromooctane is prepared as follows: 2-butyloctanol (370g,2.0mol), imidazole Imidazole(164g,2.4mol), triphenylphosphine (634g,2.4mol) and dichloromethane (1.2L) are added to the three-port reaction bottle, and carbon tetrabromide (802g,2.4mol) of dichloromethane solution (600mL) was slowly raised to room temperature for 3 hours after addition. The system evaporates the solvent under reduced pressure, adds petroleum ether and is stirred for 0.5 hours, filters, filters the filter cake and petroleum ether are washed twice, the filtrate is washed with water, saturated salt is washed with water, and anhydrous sodium sulfate is dried. 1-bromo-2-butyloctane was obtained after the solvent was evaporated by concentration.
