R-3,3 '-Bis(4-(1,1-dimethylethyl) phenyl)-1,1'-binaphthyl-2,2 '-diyl hydrogenphosphate is an organic compound with the chemical formula C45H47O3P. The compound is a chiral molecule with two chiral centers.

Use:

Method:
R-3, the preparation of 3 '-bis (4-tert-butylphenyl)-1,1'-binaphthol phosphate can be carried out by a two-step reaction. First, 2,2 '-binaphthalenediol is reacted with 4-tert-butylphenyl bromide to give 2,2'-binaphthalene-3, 3 '-dimethylene-1, diisobutyl phosphate thioester of 1'-diphenyl. The thioester is then reacted with trimethyl phosphate under basic conditions to produce the desired product.
