888042-38-4 - Introduction
CIS 7 (also known as layered 7), CIS 11 (also known as layered 11), and trans-13-hexadecenal (also known as trans-13-heod) are all carbenals, their nature, use, method and safety information are as follows:
Nature:
-CIS 7, CIS 11 and anti 13-HEOD are volatile liquids.
-They have a strong pungent smell under normal temperature and pressure.
-They are insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and dimethylbenzene.
-Their chemical structure contains multiple double bonds, which makes them highly unstable.
Use:
-CIS 7, CIS 11 and trans-13-heod are chemical intermediates, mainly used in the synthesis of other organic compounds.
-They are used in the chemical industry to prepare products such as dyes, fragrances, coatings and plastics.
-Anti 13-HEOD can also be used as a thickener in rocket fuel.
Preparation Method:
-The preparation of CIS 7 and CIS 11 is usually obtained by oxidation reaction. A common preparation method is to expose a long-chain alcohol to oxygen, form a carbon alkene through a catalyst-catalyzed reaction, and then obtain a carbon alkene through a reduction reaction.
-The preparation of anti-13-HEOD is generally obtained from cis -13-cis -16 acetal through reduction reaction.
Safety Information:
-Shun 7, Shun 11 and Anti 13-HEOD are irritating substances. Appropriate protective equipment should be worn when using, such as gloves, goggles and protective clothing.
-They are highly corrosive and irritating, and contact with skin and eyes may cause burns and irritation. In case of accidental contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical help.
-Avoid inhaling its vapor when using it, and ensure that it is operated in a well-ventilated place.
-Avoid contact with oxidants, strong acids, strong alkalis and other substances during storage, and avoid fire and high temperature.
In General, CIS 7, CIS 11 and trans-13-heod are chemically active organic compounds that can be used to synthesize other chemicals, but safety operations should be paid attention to when using.
