9-(Phenylmethyl)-9H-carbazole-3-carboxaldehyde - Preparation
The preparation of 9-benzylcarbazole-3-formaldehyde is as follows:
1)1:1 equivalent of carbazole and benzyl bromide, DMF as solvent, add 5 equivalent of potassium carbonate, reaction at room temperature for 8h. After the reaction, recrystallized with absolute ethanol to obtain white solid carbazole-3-formaldehyde with a yield of 70-85%.
2) Under the ice bath at 0 ℃, the equal volume of N,N-dimethylformamide reacts with phosphorus oxychloride for 30min, then carbazole -3-formaldehyde, a compound dissolved in dichloromethane, is added and reacted at 90 ℃ for 6h. After the reaction, it was quenched with water, sodium hydroxide was neutralized to pH = 7, extracted with ethyl acetate and water, the organic phase was collected, and the white solid 9-benzylcarbazol-3-formaldehyde was purified by silica gel column with a yield of 77 ~ 89%.
