1. reacting aniline with bromoethanol to obtain 3-bromo-2-ethoxypropyl aniline
2. 3-bromo-2-ethoxypropyl aniline is reacted with sodium hydroxide to obtain 3-ethoxy-2-hydroxypropyl aniline
3. 3-ethoxy-2-hydroxypropylaniline is reacted with chloroacetone to obtain 4-[3-ethoxy-2-(hydroxyl) propoxy]aniline
