1,2-bis (4 '-methyl-2,2'-bipyridin-4-yl)ethane is a colorless crystal with good solubility. It is a double pyridine derivative with high molecular symmetry. The two 4 '-methyl -2,2'-bipyridin-4-yl units in its molecule are connected by an ethane Bridge.
