identification test | take 250mg of sample, dissolve it in 2.5ml of isopropanol, and dilute it to 25ml with water. Take this fluid. 10ml is diluted with water to 100 m1. Take 0.5, 30 and 50 μ1 of the liquid and drop it 2cm away from the bottom edge of the thin layer chromatography plate. The chromatography plate is coated with silica gel (I .e., 20cm × 20cm Brinkman silica gel 60.250nm, or equivalent). In a sealed and balanced thin layer chromatography spreading groove, the chromatography is expanded by 10cm. The spreading agent consists of n-butanol, acetic acid and water at 75:20=20. The chromatography plate was dried overnight. The chromatographic plate was sprayed with 3ml of 10% hexachloroplatinic acid, 97ml of water and 100ml of 6% potassium iodide solution. The sample should form a separate stain with Rf value of 0.67~0.1. |
content analysis | accurately weigh the sample about 250mg, move it into a glass stopper flask, and add 100ml of water, 5g of dipotassium hydrogen phosphate, 2g of potassium dihydrogen phosphate and 2g of potassium iodide. After fully mixing and dissolving, add 0. 1mol/L iodine solution 50.0 m1, plug and mix well. Let stand for 30 minutes and titrate excess iodine with 0.1mol/L sodium thiosulfate. At the same time, blank titration test was carried out. 0.1mol/L iodine solution per Ml is equivalent to 9.563mg of this product (C7H13NO3S). |
toxicity | can be safely used in food (FDA, 172.372,2000). |
Use limit | accounts for 3.1% of the total protein content in food (based on free L-methionine). It shall not be used in infant food and foods containing nitrite/nitrate (FDA,§ 172.372,2000). |
