Alamos - Introduction
Azothoate is a chemical substance with the chemical formula [O = SNH4], which is the positive ion form of ammonium sulfite.
Nature:
-Colorless crystalline solid
-Water soluble
-Stable in the air
-Flammable
Use:
Azothoate has certain application value, mainly used in the following aspects:
-as a catalyst to participate in some organic synthesis reactions
-as a disinfectant for disinfecting medical devices
-Used for metal surface treatment, such as anodic protection and corrosion protection
Preparation Method:
Azothoate can be prepared by reacting ammonium sulfite with hydrogen sulfide. The specific steps are as follows:
1. Dissolve ammonium sulfite and hydrogen sulfide in the right amount of water;
2. Under the condition of stirring, adjust the pH value with dilute sulfuric acid;
3. Filtering and cooling the solution to obtain crystals of Azothoate;
4. Dry after crystallization.
Safety Information:
The following security considerations apply when using Azothoate:
-avoid direct contact with skin and eyes, should wear personal protective equipment, such as gloves, safety glasses, etc;
-Pay attention to a well-ventilated environment during operation and avoid inhalation or intake;
- Azothoate is a combustible substance and should be kept away from open flames and high temperatures;
-Disposal of waste shall comply with local regulations.
