Albendazole-D3 - Introduction
Deuteroabenzazole (Deuteroabenzazole) is a compound containing deuterium. The chemical structure is similar to that of albendazole, except that the hydrogen atom is replaced by a deuterium atom.
Deuterated albendazole is a colorless to pale yellow solid, soluble in some organic solvents such as dimethylformamide and chloroform. Its molecular formula is C7H6DN3O and its molecular weight is 147.16g/mol. It has some special physical and chemical properties, for example, the vibration frequency of deuterated albendazole is slightly higher than that of albendazole, and its chemical reaction rate is also slower.
Deuterated albendazole has some special applications in scientific research. Due to the special properties of compounds containing deuterium, deuterated albendazole is often used as an internal standard substance in nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) to study the spectra of other compounds. In addition, it can also be applied in fields such as pharmaceutical research and organic synthesis.
The method for preparing deuterated albendazole can be obtained by reacting deuterium gas and albendazole, and the reaction is generally carried out at high temperature. After the reaction, deuterated albendazole can be isolated and purified by crystallization.
Regarding the safety information of deuterated albendazole, because it is a chemical reagent, it needs to be handled in the laboratory with appropriate safety operations and measures. Avoid skin contact and inhalation, avoid contact with strong oxidants and other substances. In storage and use, should comply with the relevant safety procedures, such as wearing protective gloves and eye protection equipment.
