action
Benzlite and McRustling conducted a pine rust test to control five pine seedlings in the nursery. Before and after inoculation of pathogenic bacteria on pine seedlings, the soil was soaked with these two fungicides respectively.
Preparation
The preparation of McRustling is as follows: 43.2 grams (0.464 mol) of aniline and 46.9 grams. Mix triethylamine in 930ml. Benzene is stirred. 123.7g(0.464 mol) 2-iodobenzoyl chloride solution in 450ml. Benzene was added to the first mixture by means of a dropping funnel. The exothermic reaction takes place. After the addition, return the mixture for 1/2 hour. Cool the mixture and allow the product to solidify. The product is filtered, added to water, and stirred to dissolve triethylamine hydrochloride. The product was filtered again and dried to give 146.8g of the desired product, Macrustling. (yield 98%)m.p. 141-144 ℃.
