BI3812 - Introduction
BI-3812 is an organic compound with the chemical structure [(3-chlorophyll) dimethylsilanolate]dihydrogen Phosphatate.
Nature:
1. Appearance: the BI-3812 is colorless or light yellow liquid;
2. Density: about 1.16 g/mL;
3. Melting Point: About -30 ℃;
4. Boiling point: About 175 ℃;
5. At room temperature can be dissolved in organic solvents, such as ethers, ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons, but insoluble in water.
Use:
BI-3812 is mainly used as a catalyst in organic synthesis. It can play an important role in the carbon-hydrogen bond functionalization reaction, promote the reaction and improve the yield. In addition, it can also be used to catalyze the interconversion of functional groups such as ethers and alcohols.
Preparation Method:
BI-3812 is usually prepared by reacting a mixture of 3-chlorobenzyl alcohol and dimethylaminoethyldiethanolamine with Tri (O-phenyl) phosphate at room temperature. The product of the reaction is cracked, filtered and distilled to obtain pure BI-3812.
Safety Information:
1. BI-3812 are organic compounds and should be operated in a well-ventilated place and avoid prolonged exposure to the air;
2. Contact with BI-3812 may cause eye and skin irritation, so use should wear goggles and protective gloves;
3. Seek immediate medical help if BI-3812 is ingested or inhaled;
4. BI-3812 should be stored in a dry, cool place, away from fire and other flammable materials.
