BOC-L-PRO-NITRILE - Introduction
(R)-1-Boc-2-cyanopyrrolidine is an organic compound whose chemical properties mainly include:
1. Structural characteristics: It is a chiral compound with (S)-and (R)-Two enantiomers. The molecule contains Boc protecting group (tert-butoxycarbonyl), cyano and pyrrole ring structure.
2. Physical properties:(R)-1-Boc-2-cyanopyrrolidine is colorless to white crystal or powder, soluble in most organic solvents, such as ether, methanol, etc.
3. Use: it is an important intermediate in the synthesis of organic compounds, commonly used in the preparation of drugs, pesticides and bioactive molecules. Its cyano group can be further reacted for the construction of carbon-carbon and carbon-nitrogen bonds, C- C and C- N building reactions.
4. Preparation method: mainly obtained by reaction of cyano group and Boc protecting group on pyrrole ring. (R)-1-Boc-2-cyanopyrrolidine can be obtained by reacting lithium cyanate with sodium cyanate at (-40°C) and then reacting with the Boc-OSuccinimid group.
