Boc-N-amido-PEG2-acid - Introduction
t-Boc-N-amido-PEG2-acid(t-Boc-N-amido-PEG2-acid) is an organic compound whose molecular structure includes an N-tert-butoxycarbonyl (t-Boc) group, two ethylene glycol groups, and a carboxylic acid group. It usually exists in solid or liquid form.
The compound is commonly used as a functional material in the biomedical field. Due to the ethylene glycol group, the t-Boc-N-amido-PEG2-acid has good solubility and biocompatibility. It can be used to construct polymer drug carriers, modify biological molecules, prepare polymer materials, etc.
The method for preparing t-Boc-N-amido-PEG2-acid can be obtained by reacting tert-butyl dimethyl carbamate (t-Boc-NHMe) with biformaldehyde glycol ether (HO-CH2-CH2-OH) to obtain t-Boc-N-amido-PEG2-oxalyl chloride, and then reacting with sodium hydroxide to obtain t-Boc-N-amido-PEG2-acid.
For safety information, please follow laboratory safety procedures and use personal protective equipment correctly. t-Boc-N-amido-PEG2-acid may be irritating to the eyes, skin and respiratory system, so it is necessary to avoid direct contact when in contact and operate in a well-ventilated area. In case of contact with eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical help.
