CDC801 - Introduction
CDC801 is an organic compound with the chemical name 1,1, 1-tris (chloromethyl) ethane. It is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor.
CDC801 is mainly used as a solvent and surfactant. It has excellent solubility and can be widely used in organic synthesis and chemical industry. It is often used as a dispersant and solubilizer in the preparation of pigments, resins, rubbers and coatings. In addition, the CDC801 can also be used for cleaning and degreasing.
CDC801 preparation method there are two main methods. One is made by reacting 1,1, 1-trichloroethane with methanol, and an alkali catalyst is added during the reaction. The other is prepared by the reaction of trichloroacetyl chloride with methanol, and the presence of a promoter is required during the reaction.
in the use of CDC801 need to pay attention to security issues. It is irritating to the eyes and skin, so wear appropriate protective gloves, glasses and masks when handling. Avoid inhalation or contact with CDC801. During storage and handling, keep away from ignition and heat sources and keep the container sealed. If you come into contact with CDC801, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical help.
