CMP-5 - Reference Information
| biological activity | CMP-5 is a potent and selective PRMT5 inhibitor with no activity against PRMT1,PRMT4 and PRMT7 enzymes. CMP-5 during the preparation of histones, S2Me-H4R3 was selectively blocked by inhibiting PRMT5 methyltransferase activity. CMP-5 blocks EBV-driven B lymphocyte transformation, but has no effect on normal B cells. |
