CYPERAL - Introduction
Benfuresate(Benfuresate) is an insecticide and herbicide that chemically belongs to the class of organophosphate compounds. It is a white crystalline powder, soluble in alcohol solvents, slightly soluble in water.
Benfuresate is mainly used in agriculture to control rice sheath blight virus in rice fields and the broad weed of the spicy Thistle genus of sugar beet. It can inhibit the activity of plant amidase, blocking the synthesis of glycine, thereby inhibiting the growth and development of plants, to achieve insecticidal and Herbicidal Effects.
In the preparation method, Benfuresate is usually obtained by reacting furanone (furanone ketone) and dimethyl phosphate chloride, and the presence of alkali is required under the reaction conditions.
Regarding safety information, Benfuresate has certain toxicity and needs to comply with corresponding safety operation procedures when using it. It degrades quickly after plant use and does not accumulate residues in crops. However, if you ingest or come into contact with high concentrations of Benfuresate, it will cause harm to human health, so you need to pay attention to personal protective measures when using it to avoid direct contact or inhalation. It is recommended to wash hands in time after use to avoid eating. At the same time, Benfuresate is also toxic to aquatic organisms and should not be discharged directly into water bodies. Generally speaking, the use of Benfuresate is relatively safe when used correctly and following relevant safety operation measures.
