DAMPA-d3 - Introduction
DAMPA-d3(DAMPA-d3) is a compound, also known as Acid. It is an isotopic label of amino acid compounds that marks one or more positions in the amino acid molecule by replacing the hydrogen atoms in the atomic group with deuterium (d3).
DAMPA-d3 is a mimic of the neurotransmitter glutamine and is commonly used as a research tool for agonist ketoglutarate (Kainic Acid) receptor antagonists. The compound can be used in various experimental designs, such as studying the role and mechanism of neurotransmitters in the brain, and exploring the development mechanism of neurodegenerative diseases.
The main method for preparing DAMPA-d3 is to use a reducing agent containing deuterium to combine DAMPA and deuterium hydrogenation under the reaction conditions of hydrogenation reduction.
Regarding safety information, DAMPA-d3 are considered relatively safe under normal laboratory conditions. However, special precautions still need to be observed. Appropriate protective measures should be taken during use and handling, such as wearing laboratory clothing, gloves, safety glasses, etc. Proper storage and disposal of waste is also important. Further safety information can be found in the relevant technical literature and material safety data sheets. Be sure to read and understand the relevant safety information carefully before performing the experiment.
