Dichloro(3-methyl-2-butenylidene)bis(tricyclohexylphosphine)ruthenium - Introduction
The chemical formula [Cl2(rac-BINAP)]Ru(II) is a coordination compound with the following properties:
1. Appearance: A colorless crystal, or white to light yellow solid.
2. Solubility: Soluble in organic solvents such as chlorinated hydrocarbons and aliphatic alcohols.
3. Melting Point: about 70-73 ℃.
4. Stability: relatively stable at room temperature, but it will decompose when encountering oxygen or moisture.
It has a wide range of applications:
1. Catalyst: As a chiral catalyst, it is used in organic synthesis reactions, such as asymmetric hydrogenation, asymmetric hydrogenation, Asymmetric oxidation, etc.
2. Chiral fluorescent probe: with chiral fluorescence properties, it can be used for chiral analysis and chiral chemistry research.
3. Optoelectronic devices: It can be used to construct silica/tricyclohexylphosphorus ruthenium composite nanomaterials and applied to optoelectronic devices.
The preparation method is as follows:
First, tricyclohexyl phosphorus is chlorinated to tricyclohexyl phosphorus alcohol, and then reacted with 3-methyl -2-butenol to generate tricyclohexyl phosphorus (3-methyl -2-butenyl methanol). Finally, sodium chloride and niobium chloride are added to react to obtain quartz.
For safety information, please note the following:
1. For toxic substances, should be kept away from children and animals.
2. When in use, should wear appropriate protective equipment, such as gloves, glasses and lab coat.
3. Avoid inhaling gas, dust and solution vapor, and ensure that the operation is in a well-ventilated place.
4. In case of accidental splashing into eyes or skin, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical help.
5. During storage and transportation, avoid contact with oxygen and moisture to prevent decomposition and dangerous accidents.
6. When disposing of waste, please follow the local waste disposal regulations.
