Name | Dimethylcopperlithium |
Synonyms | Dimethylcopperlithium |
CAS | 15681-48-8 |
Molecular Formula | C2H6CuLi |
Molar Mass | 100.55604 |
production method | 0.050mol of methyl lithium is dissolved in 40ml of anhydrous ether solution, and 4.77g(0.025mol) of iodide and 50ml of anhydrous ether cooled to -15 ℃ is added under nitrogen and stirring, which takes 1 hour. When half of the amount of methyl lithium is added, a yellow suspension (methyl ketone is formed) is formed. After the addition, an almost colorless clear solution (dimethyl copper lithium is formed) is obtained, which is available for use. |
