Abstract:
The Waterborne Alkyd resin was synthesized by tall oil fatty acid. The optimized formula of waterborne alkyd resin was obtained by investigating the use of different fatty acids, neutralizing agent and cosolvent. The formula shows that tall oil fatty acid modified alkyd resin is superior to soybean oil fatty acid modified alkyd resin in drying time, weather resistance, hardness and other properties.

with tall oil fatty acid as raw material, stearic acid and unsaturated fatty acid were separated by low temperature gradient freezing crystallization, and then separated by high speed centrifugation, and the higher purity of oleic acid, linoleic acid and other unsaturated fatty acids were obtained.
