ECA100 - Introduction
ECA100, full name 2-Acetylchlorobenzoxazole, is an organic compound. The following is an introduction to the nature, use, formulation and safety information of ECA100:
Properties: ECA100 is a white crystalline solid with a special odor. It is stable at room temperature, but sensitive to light and air. ECA 100 is almost insoluble in water and soluble in organic solvents.
Uses: ECA100 is mainly used to prepare various photosensitive materials and dyes. Its derivatives can be used in optical sensors, fluorescent probes, fluorescent dyes, microscopy and laser technology. ECA 100 can also be used as an intermediate for organic synthesis reactions.
Preparation method: The synthesis method of ECA100 is generally prepared by acetylation reaction of 2-cyanophenone. First, 2-cyanophenone was reacted with acetic anhydride to obtain ECA 100 as an intermediate. The final product was then purified by crystallization.
Safety information: ECA100 has a certain degree of corrosiveness and irritation, so safety should be paid attention to during operation. May cause irritation and burns when in contact with skin, eyes or inhalation. Protective gloves, safety glasses and protective masks must be worn. Maintain good ventilation during use and avoid direct contact.
