production method | 1. Chloroacetaldehyde diethanol is added to a solution of sodium amino acid in liquid ammonia to produce sodium ethoxyacetylene, which is prepared by treatment with an aqueous solution of sodium chloride at -70 °c. 2. Preparation method: 500mL of dry liquid ammonia was introduced into the reaction bottle, 1.65g of hydrated ferric nitrate was added, and then 38g (mol) of clean, freshly cut metal sodium was added in portions until the sodium amino acid reaction was completed. Chloroacetal (2)76.5(0.502mol) was added dropwise in 15~20min, shaken for 15min, and nitrogen was slowly introduced to volatilize ammonia. Cool to -70 °c with a dry ice-trichloroethane solution bath and immediately add 325ml of saturated sodium chloride solution previously cooled to -20 °c with shaking as much as possible. A distillation head was fitted and neutralized with dry ice-cooling to -70 °c by dropwise addition of saturated sodium dihydrogen phosphate solution. The water layer was frozen by cooling with dry ice. The supernatant liquid was decanted, dried with anhydrous calcium chloride, fractionated, and fractions of 49-50 °c/99.62KPA were collected to obtain 20-21g of ethoxyacetylene (1) in a yield of 58%-61%.
