Furomollugin - Introduction
Furomollugin(Furomollugin) is a natural product belonging to phenylpropanoid flavonoid compounds. It is found in some herbaceous plants, such as Apo Vine (Ampelopsis grossedentata) and hairy soft Grape (Vitis nepelensis).
Regarding the nature of Furomollugin, it is a dark yellow crystalline powder, sometimes orange. It is slightly soluble in water, but has better solubility in organic solvents.
Furomollugin has a variety of biological activities, such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-tumor and antibacterial effects. It has been widely studied and found to have anti-proliferative effects on a variety of tumor cells such as lung cancer, liver cancer and colon cancer.
Regarding the preparation method, the extraction method of Furomollugin usually involves extraction from plant material and extraction and purification by solvent. This involves the use of suitable solvents to extract the active ingredients in plants, and the use of column chromatography and other techniques for separation and purification.
In terms of safety, the current toxicological studies on Furomollugin are limited. However, as a natural product, it is generally considered to have low toxicity. However, for the use of any chemical substance, appropriate safety handling and use precautions should be followed to avoid exposure to excess or accidental ingestion.
