Abstract:
short bacitracin is a group of hydrophobic pentadecapeptides synthesized by Bacillus brevis during spore formation. It can form monovalent cation channels on the lipid bilayer membrane, allowing some monovalent cations to pass through. The research of short bacitracin ion channel in natural bilayer membrane and artificial bilayer membrane, such as lipid bilayer membrane (BLM), however, studies based on supported membranes are rare [1~4]. In this paper, thiol self-assembled monolayers were prepared on gold electrode, the ion channel behavior of short bacitracin was studied, and the possible mechanism was proposed.

Abstract:
bacitracin S is a cyclic peptide antibiotic that interacts with cell membrane and has been studied in detail so far. Its mechanism of action is the destruction of cell membrane structure, resulting in the release of cell contents, and ultimately cause cell death. In this paper, the research progress of the short bacitracin S was reviewed.

Abstract:
using A recently proposed efficient method for constructing the initial conformation of A membrane system, A model of bacitracin A channel in DMPC lipid membrane environment was constructed (GA-DMPC). Through the molecular dynamics simulation of Na, Ca2, Cl-three different ions in different positions in the GA-DMPC channel, the interaction between the ion transport process in the Channel and the water molecules in the channel is studied, in this paper, the transport mechanism of ions in channels is elucidated from the viewpoint of molecular dynamics. The main results show that:(1) the ion transport in the channel changes the conformation of GA, and the flexibility of GA is an important factor for the ion permeability in the channel; cl-ions can enlarge the channel radius, while Na and Ca2 ions can reduce the channel radius. Cl-ions can not pass through the GA channel. (3) the appearance of ions changes the dipole direction of water molecules in the Channel. The above results are in agreement with the experimental results.
