(S)-3-Amino-3-(3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)propanoic acid is an organic compound with the chemical formula C10H10F3NO2. It is a white solid with special chemical properties.

First, benzoyl chloride is reacted with 3-trifluoromethylphenylpropylamine to produce N-benzoyl-N-(3-trifluoromethylphenyl) propylamine; then, the target product is produced via reaction of hydroxamic acid with N-benzoyl-N-(3-trifluoromethylphenyl) propylamine.
