HB-501 - Introduction
HB-501(HB-501) is a commonly used chemical reagent, also known as ammonium sulfide. The following is a description of the nature, use, manufacture and safety information of the HB-501:
Properties: HB-501 is a colorless to pale yellow crystalline solid. Has a higher melting point and boiling point. It is soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol and ether solvents. HB-501 is alkaline and can react with acids.
Uses: HB-501 has a wide range of applications in industry and laboratories. It is often used for degreasing, degreasing, cleaning and activation of metal surfaces. HB-501 can also be used as dehydrating agents, catalysts and sulfurizing agents in organic synthesis reactions.
Preparation method: There are two main methods for preparing HB-501. One is to generate Diammonium dithiocarbamate (ammonium dithiocarbamate) by passing hydrogen sulfide gas through ammonia water, and then to obtain HB-501 by acidification reaction. Another method is to react ammonia and thiocyanic acid to form ammonium thiocarbamate, which is then acidified to obtain HB-501.
safety information: HB-501 need to pay attention to safety during use. It is a substance that is irritating to the skin and eyes and should be rinsed with plenty of water immediately after contact. HB-501 can release toxic hydrogen sulfide gas when heated, proper ventilation measures should be taken during operation. In addition, the HB-501 should not be mixed with oxidants and acidic substances to avoid dangerous reactions.
