Indications
Intravenous urography (in adults, including patients with kidney damage or diabetes),CT (trunk), conventional angiography, arterial DSA, cardiovascular angiography (in adults and children), conventional selective coronary angiography, interventional coronary angiography, fistula angiography, mammary duct angiography, dacryocystorhinography, salivary duct angiography.
adverse reactions
1. Allergic reactions: It can be manifested as a variety of symptoms, typical of which are abnormal feeling, anxiety, flushing, heat, sweating, dizziness, increased tears, rhinitis, palpitations, wrong feeling, itching, Head pain, sore throat and tight throat, dysphagia, cough, sneezing, urticaria, erythema, mild local edema or angioedema, it may cause dyspnea due to edema of tongue and throat, or laryngeal spasm accompanied by asthma and bronchial asthma. Fewer patients develop nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.
2. More serious adverse reactions can involve the cardiovascular system, including peripheral vasodilation, accompanied by obvious hypotension, tachycardia or bradycardia, cyanosis, confusion, and even respiratory and/or cardiac arrest leading to death. These reactions may occur quickly and require immediate rescue treatment with cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Pharmacological action
Iopel is a triiodide non-ionic water-soluble X-ray contrast agent, which has very low osmotic pressure and viscosity compared with other non-ionic contrast agents.
precautions
Although iodine meprel has low sensitivity to X-rays, it is still recommended to keep this product outside the range of ionizing rays.
