L-ADENOSINE - Introduction
L-Adenosine(L-Adenosine) is an organic compound, belonging to the nucleoside compounds. It is composed of two parts, adenine and ribose, in which the ribose is linked to the nitrogen atom in adenine by a glycosidic bond.
L-Adenosine is widely present in organisms and is one of the components of RNA and DNA. It plays an important role in cellular energy metabolism, as an intracellular energy transmitter, involved in glucose metabolism and fatty acid oxidation. In addition, L-Adenosine also has a variety of pharmacological activities, such as anti-arrhythmic, anti-platelet aggregation, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and other effects.
L-Adenosine are often prepared by means of biotechnology, for example by fermentation of yeast or bacteria. It can also be prepared by chemical synthesis.
L-Adenosine are relatively safe compounds in general, but the following safety information should be paid attention to during use:
1. L-Adenosine has pituitary adrenocorticotropic hormone secretion, so patients with congestive heart failure, renal insufficiency, severe arrhythmia, hypertension, hypotension and other cardiovascular diseases should be used with caution.
2. Excessive use of L-Adenosine may lead to side effects, such as low blood pressure, bradycardia, chest tightness, dizziness and other symptoms. Should be prescribed to use, and under the guidance of a doctor to adjust the dose.
3. Pregnant women, lactating women, and children should consult a physician before using L-Adenosine, as safety studies in these specific populations are scarce.
4. During the use of L-Adenosine, you should avoid drinking beverages containing caffeine and theophylline to avoid interaction and aggravate side effects.
