Use:
- HMPTP HCL is widely used as a non-alcoholic solvent in organic synthesis. It has high solubility and reactivity, and is commonly used in metal-catalyzed reactions, chemical synthesis and drug synthesis.

Method:
- HMPTP HCL can be prepared by the reaction of 2-tert-butyrylaminocarboxaldehyde with 2,2, 2-trifluoroethanol under the catalysis of sodium carbonate, and then treated with hydrochloric acid to obtain the hydrochloride form.
