Physical and Chemical Properties | Chemical properties purple-black powder. Soluble in water is jujube red, also soluble in fibrinolytic (glycol ether); slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone, insoluble in other organic solvents. It is blue in concentrated sulfuric acid, and it is diluted to form a linear reddish-brown precipitate; it is yellow in concentrated nitric acid; it is red in dilute sodium hydroxide. Its aqueous solution, adding hydrochloric acid to produce yellow-brown precipitate; adding concentrated sodium hydroxide solution turns purple-black. The solubility in water (80 ℃) is 50g/L. When dyeing, copper and iron light changes. |
