synthesis method | N,N-dihydroxyethyl-p-methylaniline can be synthesized by the following steps: 1,000g of p-methylaniline and 10 g of water are added into a 5L pressure kettle, heated to 60 ℃ ~ 65 ℃ and stirred for 30 min, then 100 g of ethylene oxide is added, and the temperature is kept at 65~70 ℃ for reaction for 4 h. Then 100 g of ethylene oxide was added within 4 h, the temperature was kept at 70~75 ℃, the reaction was carried out at 70~80 ℃ for 3 h, and the temperature was cooled to 30 ℃. The reaction liquid is added to the distillation kettle, and the product is collected at 143~148 ℃(1. 3~1. 6 kPa). The yield is 86%, the purity of the product is greater than 98%, and the former fraction can be used to improve the yield. The product is a light yellow solid. |
