| Biological activity | (Rac)-Indoximod (1-Methyl-DL-tryptophan) is indoleamine -2, 3-dioxygenase (IDO) inhibitor. The combination of (Rac)-Indoximod and IFN-γ significantly reduced the activity of human myocardial fibroblasts expressing α-SMA and induced apoptosis (apoptosis) by up-regulating IRF-1,Fas and FasL genes. |
