N-boc-1,5-diaminopentane - Introduction
N-boc-1,5-diaminopentane(N-boc-1) is an organic compound with the formula C11H24N2O2. Its nature, use, formulation and safety information are described below:
Nature:
N-boc-1,5-diaminopentane is a colorless to slightly yellow solid with low solubility and is soluble in some organic solvents such as ethanol and dimethylformamide. It has a certain alkalinity.
Use:
N-boc-1,5-diaminopentane is commonly used as a protecting group in organic synthesis, mainly as a nitrogen protecting group and an amino protecting group. It can protect the nitrogen or amino functional groups during the synthesis of certain compounds to prevent unwanted side reactions in the reaction. By the introduction and removal of the protecting group, the reaction properties and selectivity of the compound can be controlled.
Preparation Method:
N-boc-1, the preparation of 5-diaminopentane is generally carried out by the following steps:
1. firstly, glutaraldehyde and iminotri butanol are condensed to generate iminopentanediol.
2. then iminopentyl glycol is reacted with tert-butyl difluoroformamide to obtain N-boc-1,5-diaminopentane. The reaction needs to be carried out under an inert atmosphere.
Safety Information:
N-boc-1,5-diaminopentane Chemical Safety Technical Instructions (MSDS) should be listed in the relevant safety precautions and operating instructions. As specific product information is not yet available, it is recommended to read the relevant safety instructions and follow laboratory safety regulations before using the compound.
