In vivo study | In vivo studies have shown that AG1343 is well absorbed after oral administration in multiple species and has a favorable pharmacokinetic profile in humans. In fed rats, the oral bioavailability of the compound was 43%, while in fasted rats, the oral bioavailability decreased significantly to 29%. In a variety of organisms, the oral bioavailability of Nelfinavir is 47% in dogs, 17% in marmosets and 26% in cynomolgus monkeys. After oral administration, it has a longer half-life in plasma, which may be due to slower decomposition and absorption. In humans, Nelfinavir can be well absorbed, especially when administered with food, with relatively few, easy to handle side effects, and good safety. |
