Nystatin - Introduction
Pharmacology: This product is a polyene antifungal drug, with broad-spectrum antifungal effects, and has high antibacterial activity against Candida. Cryptococcus neoformans, Aspergillus, Mucor, Microsporum, Histoplasma capsulata, Dermatophytes and dermatophytes are usually also sensitive to this product. This product can be combined with sterols on fungal cell membranes to cause changes in cell membrane permeability, resulting in leakage of important cell contents and antifungal effects.
