PDP-PEG-PDP - Introduction
OPSS-PEG-OPSS(OPSS-PEG-OPSS) is an organic compound composed of mercaptopyridine, polyethylene glycol and mercaptopyridine.
The compound has the following properties:
1. Soluble in organic solvents such as dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and dichloromethane;
2. Solid at normal temperature and pressure;
3. has a strong smell of rotten eggs;
4. Stable in the air, but avoid direct sunlight.
OPSS-PEG-OPSS has a wide range of applications:
1. It can be used as a modifier for biomolecular targets, covalently linked through thiol groups;
2. As a multifunctional ligand, it can be used to prepare nanoparticles, drug delivery systems and biosensors;
3. a stabilizer for preparing metal nanoparticles;
4. It can be used to prepare metal ion-ligand complexes with high stability.
OPSS-PEG-OPSS preparation method:
1. First, dissolve mercaptopyridine in an organic solvent;
2. Add polyethylene glycol and stir to dissolve it;
3. during the reaction, adding an appropriate amount of mercaptopyridine;
4. After the reaction, the product was extracted by solvent evaporation and centrifugation.
