Role in skin self-defense mechanism:

2. Strong antibacterial barrier, especially for Propionibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus aureus.
3. Natural inflammatory regulators, inhibition of a variety of inflammatory factors (interleukin-1-α and PKC: an inflammatory precursor).
