Phosphinolate - Reference Information
| flame retardant | aluminum hypophosphite for short ALHP, is a new type of inorganic phosphorus flame retardant, chemical formula Al (H2PO2)3. With slightly soluble in water, not volatile, and high phosphorus content, good thermal stability and other characteristics. Its application products have high flame retardancy, strong thermal stability, and excellent mechanical properties and weather resistance. aluminum hypophosphite has good thermal stability and does not volatilize under the usual conditions for the preparation and processing of thermoplastic polymers. The application product has high thermal stability, good mechanical properties and good weather resistance in the processing process, and the polymer composition containing aluminum hypophosphite has high flame retardancy, according to the UL94 standard, the thickness is 0. 8mm, its flame retardant grade is VO, and according to the standard of IEC61335-1 at 775 degrees C, the thickness is greater than 1mm, passed the gsit test, all pass the various flame retardant grade inspection, and the production cost can be reduced by 60%. Due to the high phosphorus content and high aluminum content, aluminum hypophosphite has the advantages of good thermal stability, small water solubility and large flame retardant effect. ALHP is suitable for flame retardant modification of PBT, PET, PA, TPU and ABS, developed by the United States blue chemical used in PET, and achieved a very high flame retardant effect, added to PET, measured by CONE method significantly prolonged ignition time, the heat release rate and the amount of heat generated during combustion are sharply reduced, the amount of carbon residue after combustion is increased, and the flame retardant performance reaches the grade V-0 of UL94 standard, the flame retardant effect increased by 60%, and the cost price decreased by 35%. However, please pay attention to the appropriate use of stabilizers, coupling agents and other phosphorus and nitrogen flame retardants APP, MC or MCA after use. For polyester or polyester TPU only 8-12% parts of this product can meet the flame retardant requirements, for SEBS need 25-35% to meet the flame retardant requirements. |
