biological activity
Polyphyllin I is a small molecule monomer extracted from Parisian tea tree for the treatment of infectious diseases and cancer. Polyphyllin I inhibited U251 cell proliferation and induced apoptosis. Polyphyllin I is an activator of the JNK signaling pathway with potential anti-glioma effects.
