SUMO - Introduction
& & Introduction: SUMO Protease(SUMO protease, also known as ULP protease) can recognize and efficiently cut SUMO(Small Ubiquitin-Like Modifier) from fusion protein. Compared with the short recognition sites of proteases such as EK and TEV, SUMO protease can recognize the complete SUMO sequence, so SUMO protease digestion reaction has high specificity and maintains high activity in a wide range of reaction environment systems, such as temperature (4-30 ℃), pH(5.5-9.5), etc. SUMO protease also has a polyHis tag, which is convenient for Ni-NTA removal after cleavage of fusion protein. SUMO Protease is a recombinant protease expressed by affinity purification from E.coli. & & storage conditions: & & SUMO protease -80 ℃ for long-term storage, can be stored for 2 years; After the first use, it can be stored at -20 ℃ to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. 10 ×SUMO Protease Buffer can be stored at -20 ℃. & & vitality definition: one unit of SUMO Protease cleaves ≥ 85% 2 μg fusion protein in 1 h at 30 ℃.
