Physical and Chemical Properties | Bioactive swertiaaponin is a tyrosinase inhibitor that forms multiple hydrogen bonds and hydrophobic interactions with tyrosinase binding vesicles with an IC50 value of 43.47 μm. Swertiaaponin can also lead to decreased levels of tyrosinase protein by inhibiting oxidative stress-mediated MAPK/MITF signaling. Swertiaaponin can inhibit melanin accumulation and has strong antioxidant activity. |
