Spiro-NPB - Introduction
N2<| sup>,N7<| sup>-Di-1-naphthalenyl-N2<| sup>,N7<| sup>-diphenyl-9,9 '-spirobi[9H-fluorene]-2,7-diamine is an organic compound, often abbreviated as DBFS(Di-1-naphthalenyl-N2,N7-diphenyl-9,9'-spirobi [9H-fluor7-diamine]-2).
Nature:
-Appearance: DBFS exists as a colorless to light yellow solid.
-Melting point: about 295-300°C.
-Solubility: DBFS is hardly soluble in water and can be dissolved in organic solvents such as chloroform and benzene.
Use:
-Photoelectric material: DBFS can be used as a light-emitting layer material for optoelectronic devices such as organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and organic solar cells (OSC).
-Semiconductor materials: DBFS can also be used as materials for semiconductor devices such as organic transistors (OTFTs).
Method:
The preparation method of DBFS generally involves a complex organic synthesis process, which usually includes the following steps:
1. Synthesis of 1-naphthyl -9,9 '-dihalide -2,7-bisaminofluorene by nucleophilic substitution reaction.
2. The key spirocyclic structure of DBFS was synthesized by palladium-catalyzed coupling reaction, and the two aryl molecules were linked together.
3. The spirocyclic structure was subjected to a diamine reaction to introduce an amino group.
Safety Information:
The safety information about DBFS is rarely reported, so appropriate laboratory safety measures need to be taken for handling and use. DBFS may have certain potential risks to human body, such as skin allergy, eye irritation and so on. During use, avoid inhaling its dust or contact with its solution. Before further evaluation and implementation of safety measures, it is recommended to refer to the relevant safety data sheets and literature.
