In vitro study | Escin can effectively inhibit the proliferation of pancreatic cancer cells, but it has little effect on normal skeletal muscle cells. Escin enhances the proliferation-inhibiting and apoptosis-inducing effects of gemcitabine in BxPC-3 and PANC-1 cells. Escin also downregulates the activation of gemcitabine-induced NF-kB and its downstream gene products in pancreatic cancer cells. |
In vivo study | Escin enhances the therapeutic effect of gemcitabine in nude mice bearing BxPC-3 xenografts. Ecin and gemcitabine have a significant synergistic effect on inhibiting the growth of pancreatic tumors, inhibiting proliferation and inducing apoptosis of tumor cells. Escin enhances the inhibitory effect of gemcitabine on NF-kB and NF-kB regulated gene products. |

efficacy | The extracts from horse chestnut and horse chestnut, which promote the synthesis of pectin and repair damaged skin, can effectively moisturizing rich flavonoids, with natural strong anti-aging anti-wrinkle effect, can improve some eye skin blood circulation, and can also eliminate cellulite, dark circles and eye bags have some effect. |
trait | brownish yellow to white crystalline powder; Slightly gas, bitter. |
Use | Escin has the advantages of anti-tissue edema, reducing vascular permeability and preventing water accumulation in tissues, rapid elimination of the feeling of heaviness and pressure caused by local edema. It can be used to treat stomach cold pain, abdominal distention, Veratrum pain, malaria, dysentery. |
biological activity | Escin (Aescin) is a mixture of saponins found in Aesculus chinensis Bunge, vascular protection. |
