overview | organosilicon alcohol has been widely used in the synthesis of organic compounds, the synthesis of organic-inorganic hybrid materials, and the synthesis of Ziegler-Natta catalysts. therefore, organosilicon alcohol is a very useful silicon compound and has a wide range of applications in materials science, polymer materials and other industries. Tert-butyl dimethylsilanol is a type of silicone alcohol, which can be used as an intermediate in pharmaceutical synthesis. |
preparation | tert-butyl dimethylsilanol is prepared as follows: 1.86mg(0.01mmol)4,4 '-diamino -2,2'-bipyridine, 1.77mg(0.005mmol) manganese perchlorate hexahydrate (II) and 1.5mL acetone are added into a reaction tube, stirred and reacted at 80 ℃ for 2 hours, and cooled to normal temperature, 68mg(0.5mmol) of tert-butyl dimethylsilane was added, then 250 μL of hydrogen peroxide with a mass concentration of 30% was diluted with 0.5mL of acetone, then added to the reaction tube through a flow injection pump for 15 minutes. After adding, saturated sodium sulfite was added to the reaction solution to quench the remaining hydrogen peroxide, and extracted with ethyl acetate to obtain tert-butyl dimethylsilanol with a yield of 94%. |
