Summary:
objective: to study the dose-effect relationship of galactitol laxative effect and the anti-diarrhea effect of galactitol on compound diphenoperidine. Methods: The defecation time of mice was detected by 8 concentration levels and converted into defecation rate. The intestinal astringency model was made by using compound phenylethpiperidine, and the antagonistic effect of different concentrations of galactitol on its modeling was observed. Results: Galactitol has laxative effect on normal animals at 1.1% concentration, and its effect gradually increases with the increase of dose, but the dose-effect curve flattens when the concentration is about 10%, and the laxative effect does not seem to strengthen with the increase of dose. When the concentration of galactitol is above 5.5%, it has obvious antagonistic effect on compound diphenoperidine. Conclusion: The laxative effect of galactitol has a certain dose-effect relationship.
